Is there an app for apathy?

The enemy of the unemployed is that most insidious of creeps, inertia. Hours of lives have been sucked away into the ether contemplating how to get one's arse into some sort of gear. Not to say that there aren't those who naturally bounce out of the bed each morning with a plethora of projects to execute, but in general its pretty hard for most of us to motivate ourselves without a focus. When working, my house is, mostly, clean, I'm on top of what needs to be done, there's nary a grey hair beginning to eke its way out on my temple. But different story when the main focus of the day is what will be eaten and when.  My floor has become a heaving temple to textile, teacups are enabling new life forms to develop on windowsills, the cat refuses to enter the crackden-like confines of my once comfy boudoir. Something needs to be done urgently. As Withnail once screamed,  "The poop will bore through the glaze, we can never use the dinner service again!" But dammit, where to start?  Therein lies the problem. Each layer of  removed socks/bras/cereal bowls uncovers fresh horrors, an  endless abyss of laundry and  filth  that that my zanussi and delicate temperament can't and won't tolerate.  I need a moment to absorb the magnitude of my mission.  Perhaps a nice cup of tea will enlighten me.  And a walk. And then start thinking about dinner...
